As sustainability is an important topic for us this year, we are pleased to welcome to our office building a logistic service company, with a great deal of focus on green transport.
Bulung Logistics was born in 2012 out of a mission to deliver logistics services from Europe to Turkey, Central Asia and the Middle East. Its overarching goal is to facilitate an enriching exchange between people while respecting the environment. Headquartered in Vienna and with head offices in Istanbul, Sofia and Bagdad, their next step was Timisoara, Romania. Due to the emerging dynamics of the city, its infrastructure and geographic positioning, Timisoara is also Romania’s gateway to Western Europe.

Bulung Logistics has opened their Romanian Head Office in Vox Technology Park this month, with future plans to expand their offices with additional call centre services. The company offers custom procedures, warehousing, project management and multimodal transport, as well as overland, rail, air and sea freight services.
Intermodal transportation is the cornerstone of the company’s climate action strategy and allows them to make logistics more sustainable. They transport their freight in intermodal container units that can be used across different modes of transport without having to unload and reload the cargo. By using combined transport they can shift road freight to more CO2 efficient modes such as rail or sea freight.
In an effort to minimize the environmental impact of the logistics activities, Bulung is committed to exclusively using Euro-5-normed vehicles on the railway as well as on the road. Thus, they manage to keep the emission of CO2, NOX and HC as low as possible.
